No. OpenTrans AI is built with a local-first philosophy. All text processing, summarization, and grammar checks happen 100% locally on your device using local AI models. Your data never leaves your computer.

Because OpenTrans AI runs entirely on your local hardware (CPU/GPU), we have zero server inference costs. We are happy to offer unlimited local processing for free during our public beta phase.

Q3: What are the system requirements?

You need Google Chrome 148 or higher and to finish AI model setup in the extension popup. No extra API keys or accounts are required.
